There are moments when we feel uncomfortable with modern civilization which we live within nature while being controlled by technology with the justification of safety. The theme of this performance is to express the admirable era, the ancient “Jomon” period of Japan then travel through current time we live in now with sound, lights and movement. The Jomon was the period before the introduction of farming that brought about the elements of harvest/harvested and control/controlled. Some images included here are Spiritual Power, Earth Mother, Death and Rebirth, Sacred Stones, Dreams and Illusions, Underground World, and Earthly World… The “Six” is inspired by a sacred song of the Ainu tribe; “5” can be counted with one hand and that is just ordinary, and “6” stands for going beyond ordinary, meaning it is something special. A distant past, present, and future that transcends time and space are visited in this performance.
Takuya Nakamura is a composer and multi-instrumentist from Tokyo, based in NY who creates eclectic sound with piano, trumpet and electronic musical instruments. Co-composer, A Nagauta (traditional Japanese singing style accompanied with shamisen) singer, Kinohiko Kineya joins him to produce and compose music, viewing the ancient time to present age with eyes of the Edo(16-18BC) period.
Yuji Ueno is an Ikebana(Japanese traditional floral Arrangement) artist who reads the ground veins to select objects and flowers with utmost care and create a one-of-the-kind world with them. He continues to create and destroy in his unpredictable performance attracting enthusiastic fans from various fields.
The live performance will be co-created by cutting edge artists from different genres and backgrounds who lead the art scene in Tokyo and perform globally. They create works that fuse classical and contemporary art from Tokyo and send the images to the world.

安全性を条件にテクノロジーに管理された自然と共存し生活する現代文明にどこか居心地の悪さを感じる瞬間がある。 収穫と被収穫、支配と非支配を生み出していく農耕が導入される以前の時代つまり「縄文時代」を憧れとし音で表現する事をテーマとした。 ここではいくつかのイメージが内包されている。霊力、大地母、死と再生、聖石、夢と幻想、地下世界と地上世界… 「六つ」とはアイヌの神謡にインスパイアされ片手で指折り数えきる五の次の六に普通以上の事、特別という意味があるとそうだ。 時空を越えて遥なる過去〜現在、未来へと巡る。
東京都出身、ピアノ、トランペット、電子楽器などを駆使して独自のサウンドをつくり出し、現在NY パリ、東京など様々な場所で活動している作曲家、マルチ楽器演奏家、中村卓也と、三味線奏者、長唄唄方 杵屋喜之彦(きねやきのひこ)が舞台音楽を制作、構成。
共演は、地脈を読み取りモノと花材を選び抜き、いけることの独自な世界を立ち上げ続け、創造と破壊を繰り返すその予測不可能な展開は各分野から熱烈な支持を得ている 花道家 上野雄次、ニューヨークの舞踏団体ヴァンジェリーナ•シアターにて8年間にわたりプリンシパル•ダンサーとして活躍し、また桂勘(Katsura Kan)の活動にも振り付けアシスタント及びプリンシパル•ダンサーとして参加、複数回に渡る世界ツアーを行い、幻想的でショッキング、同時に遊び心を持った動きを緻密なタイミングで体現し、人間性の内部と外部の計算されたビジュアル表現を自身のカラダを使った独自の表現を続けている舞踏家、大江梓美。
ジャンル、背景が異なる、世界、東京の第一線で活躍する東京の気鋭のアーティストと共にLiveを行い、東京発の古典と現代アートが融合した作品を創造、その映像を世界へ発信します。
